Born and raised in Regina I had graduated from Micheal A. Riffel High School in 1990 (wow it only seems like yesterday!) In 1992 I moved to Victoria BC to be with Walter (my soon to be husband) who was an electrician in the Navy with the Department of National Defence. I had no idea I would ever travel across Canada from one beautiful city to another being Halifax, NS, and visit so many other cities in between. We decided it was time to find a more stable family environment. Employment opportunity took us to Sherwood Park, AB - just outside of Edmonton. My previous jobs have all been in the field of helping people. From care aid in the nursing home environment to dental assisting to day home provider, being there for people is what I was meant to do.

In 2003 my neighbour and I tried our hands at entrepreneurship. We opened a new home construction cleaning business that served Edmonton  and local area. It is thru this business that I realized how important home ownership and finding that right home was for people. At first things were slow, we heard so many no’s before the important 1st yes to builders allowing us the opportunity to prove our services to them. We never thought we would have the success that we had, all of the hard work paid off and now we were getting referrals. I had learned so much about people, the housing industry and how important good service is from my venture in business ownership. In 2004 we sold our business so Walter, and my children (Britnee and Josh) and I could return home to Saskatchewan, home is where your heart is… I began the real estate course in the summer of 2007 and had my first “deal” go thru in December 2007, I was so nervous and so excited at the same time. At that moment I knew this is what I want to wake up to do everyday, every day brings on new challenges, meeting new people and new accomplishments.
